Metro Ford Brisbane will be a hive of activity this Saturday (29th November) with Queensland’s flagship Ford dealer holding it’s biggest ever promotion.
To help celebrate, the world’s largest professional Drag Racing team Brett Stevens Racing will be in attendance with a huge display of race cars and bikes including a 3500 horsepower Ford Mustang Funny Car, four 3000 horsepower Ford Falcon Top Doorslammers and four 800 horsepower Nitro Harley’s.
Coming in to meet the fans at the event will also be team drivers Brett ‘The Boss’ Stevens (Jack Daniel’s Racing Top Doorslammer/Jack Daniel’s Racing Top Bike/Kitten Car Care Products Funny Car), Troy McLean (SP Racing Top Bike), Steve Packman (SP Racing Top Doorslammer), Todd Waddell (Mack Trucks Top Doorslammer) and team newcomer Daniel Reed (Makita Top Doorslammer).
Other special guests throughout the day will include the Stone Brother Racing and Dick Johnson Racing V8 Supercar teams and drivers, Brisbane Lions AFL star and Brownlow Medallist Simon Black, and former Australian and Queensland cricket great Michael Kasprowicz.
“I have had an association with Ford since first launching the Falcon Top Doorslammers in 2006 and this year Metro Ford has joined my expanded team assisting us with our fleet of street registered promotional vehicles,” Stevens said.
“It should be a great day out on Saturday at their Valley store with plenty of activities, Drag Racing and V8 Supercar displays, celebrity meet and greets as well as a fundraiser BBQ with all profits going towards the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia.”
Already Queensland’s premier Ford dealer, Metro Ford has recently joined forces with Brisbane’s Southside Ford bringing together a team of professionals with over 100 years combined experience in sales, service, parts and repairs.
