DRAG RACING CHAMP TO SMOKE V8’S

Multiple Australian Drag Racing Champ Brett ‘The Boss‘ Stevens will be giving the crowd something extra to cheer about at the SKYCITY Triple Crown V8 Supercars when he takes his famous tyre smoking burnout show to the Hidden Valley Raceway in the Northern Territory from June 22-24.

Fresh from completing the 2006/2007 Australian National Drag Racing Association Championship series, the two time National Title holder will have his insane 2,500 horsepower Jack Daniel’s Racing Falcon Burnout Ute out on track annihilating tyres in a show that is a must see for all motorsport fans.

Stevens will be appearing at the Darwin V8’s as a part of the official on track entertainment over the weekend and is determined to give the crowd an experience to remember.

“This year is the 10th anniversary of the V8 Supercars in Darwin so I want to be apart of making the celebrations the biggest and best ever,” Stevens said

“I will have my race team on display including 3,000 horsepower Top Doorslammers, Top Alcohol Funny Car and Nitro Harleys.”

“I also intend to make sure that it’s not just the V8’s though that put a smile on people’s faces as I let loose on the track with Jack Daniel’s Racing Burnout Ute.”

“If you like big horsepower, burning rubber, smoking tyres and lots of noise you will really enjoy my show.”

Stevens is one of the countries leading Drag Racers, operating a team of seven Group 1 vehicles and is the only person in the world to compete in three professional Drag Racing brackets simultaneously (Top Doorslammer, Top Bike and Top Alcohol).

Some of his recent Drag Racing accomplishments include winning the 2005 Australian Top Bike Championships and the 2004 Australian Top Doorslammer, inductee into the Australian Motorcycle Hall of Fame, Australia’s quickest Harley record at 6.49 seconds at 215 mph (347 kph) over the quarter mile, as well as various other records and titles.
