USA TOP FUEL VISITORS, 8,000 HORSEPOWER ENGINE FIREUP, WILD BURNOUT RIDE

WELCOME TO AMERICAN STARS, TOP FUEL ENGINE FIREUP AND BLAST, PASSENGER RIDE IN BRETT STEVENS FORD BURNOUT CAR

WHO:               Western Sydney International Dragway (WSID), welcomes world-class Top Fuel Dragster Drivers – Cory McClenathan & Mike Dunn from the USA, for an International Top Fuel Event on December 8&9 against Australia’s best Top Fuel Drivers.

WHAT:             We are welcoming Cory and Mike into Australia by placing them inside the Brett Stevens 3000-horsepower Burnout Car and then introducing the Sydney media to the power and fury of a 8,000-horsepower Top Fuel Dragster by starting the Cory McClenathan car on the WSID start-line, including some body pounding ‘hits’ of the throttle for the gathered media.

WHY:                Western Sydney International Dragway, is hosting its third annual International Top Fuel event, showcasing the amazing Nitro Fuelled Top Fuel Dragsters, vehicles that run at speeds over 500kmh over a quarter mile run, in less than 5-seconds – the fastest accelerating vehicles on the planet.

NOTE:              This event will make for a dramatic and colourful change-up News Story. Limited numbers of media kits will be available on a first-come, first serve basis. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

The NSW State Government funded Western Sydney International Dragway site is entirely removed from Eastern Creek Raceway and is controlled by a separate non-profit sporting body.

The venue occupies an area of approximately 70 hectares, zoned for motorsport.

The WSID facility is a full international standard drag strip, and stages a unique combination of major international events, as well as weekly legal, off-street Drag Racing with support of the NRMA Motoring + Services Group.
