BACKGROUND AND RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Todd Waddell linked with Brett Stevens Racing in 2008 as the youngest professional driver to ever join the team at age 20. He was the standout talent during the team’s recruitment drive to fill a vacant Top Doorslammer seat for the 2008/2009 ANDRA Championship Drag Racing series.

Emerging from a Speedway background, Waddell has vast race car driving experience well beyond his years and a long list of achievements including multiple National Championships and Australian representative honours.

As a Drag Racing rookie, Waddell impressed team boss Brett Stevens with his dedication and driving skills while testing and licensing in August 2008 at  Willowbank Raceway, where he was able to lay down numerous 6.2 second passes.

He will make his professional Drag Racing debut with high expectations in arguably the toughest and most competitive bracket, Top Doorslammer, at the 2008 Australian Nationals at the Western Sydney International Dragway.
