BACKGROUND AND RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Despite only being 28 years old, Crowley has built up nearly 15 years of experience as an established Drag Racer after starting out in 1993 in the Junior Dragster ranks, before beginning racing motorcycles on street bikes.
Over the years he has raced numerous machines with many event victories covering nearly every Drag Racing motorcycle bracket in Australia as he progressed up the ranks through 9 second Modified Bikes, 8 second Competition Bikes and ultimately up to the professional Pro Stock Bike. In Competition Bike he carved a niche for himself as one of the counties leading Sportsmen motorcycle riders with 4 National Records.
In 2008 Crowley has taken over the riding duties of the highly successful Kitten Car Care Products S&S powered Pro Stock Buell in the Australian Pro Stock Bike Championship for 2008/2009.
Under the guidance of S&S Cycles Senior Manager of Racing Charlie Hadayia from the USA, the bike made a spectacular introduction with former rider Pete Cochrane at the handlebars when on only its third pass on Australian soil it ran a sub National Record time (at the time) of 7.29 seconds.
Following this, the bikes riding duties were taken over by Dion Prowse for the 2006/2007 ANDRA season and the results continued where Cochrane left off as Prowse went through the entire Championship undefeated in the first season for both rider and machine, winning the National Title in the process.
Cochrane was then again named as the official team rider of the Buell for the 2007/2008 Australian Championship where the team won back to back titles.
After pre-season testing at Willowbank Racing, Crowley’s knowledge and skills has seen him be named as the official team rider of the Kitten Car Care Products S&S Powered Buell for the at For the 2008/2009 ANDRA Championship Drag Racing series.
