BACKGROUND AND RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

A plumber by trade, Borg has been a motorcycle fanatic since his early years on the farm where he first learnt to ride a dirt bike at the age of 5. Growing up he then competed nationally in Motorcross and Supercross winning many titles around Australia.

In 2002 at age 20 Borg bought his first street bike and began his extremely successful Drag Racing career in the Sportsman ranks at the Western Sydney International Dragway at their Street Meets. He then moved into the ANDRA competition brackets with his custom built 600 horsepower Modified Bike where he has run the Outlaw Sports Bike Australian Record with a 7.70 second quarter mile pass at 193 mph.

With many event wins and consistent racing Borg also won the 2006 Australian Modified Bike Championship.

In September 2008 Borg then made his biggest move in the sport when he was selected to ride for the Brett Stevens Racing team aboard one of their infamous Top Bike Nitro Harley’s in the professional ranks of the ANDRA Championship Drag Racing series.

Under the guidance of team boss Brett Stevens, Borg has lived up to all expectations in the pre season preparations when he was able to lay down times multiple 6 second passes with a best time of 6.842 seconds at 193.97 mph (312.16 kph), enough to qualify him in any Top Bike field in history.
