BACKGROUND AND RACING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In 2004 West Aussie Kim Stevens (no relation to Brett Stevens) jumped straight into the deep end of Australian Group One Drag Racing as a customer of the Brett
Stevens Race Fabrication chassis shop when he purchased a brand new Nitro Harley from ‘The Boss’.

After successfully licensing under the guidance of Brett Stevens, Kim then spent his first full year of competition travelling and competing under the Brett Stevens Racing banner before going out on his own in 2005.

In his short career Kim has made his mark as a tough competitor and a real contender every time he is on track, with three winners trophies to his name including a stunning Winternationals victory in his first attempt in 2004.

He also currently holds the Australian Harley Davidson National Speed Record at 217.91 mph, which he took from Brett Stevens himself.

After only competing part time in the ANDRA Championship Drag Racing series over the last few years, the 2008/2009 season will see Kim again join the Brett Stevens Racing team in a full time capacity in the Top Bike bracket.
